Englewood, CO (USA) — Xtreme Cage Wars, Inc. announces the formation of “The XCW Foundation.” The foundations main purpose to raise monies for injured or fallen Police Officers and Firefighters or those that have been diagnosed with a debilitating disease. The first beneficiary of the foundation was a Denver Fire Firefighter who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.
“We are extremely happy to be able to launch this foundation to quickly infuse monies to those who are in need”, said Greg Miller President of Xtreme Cage Wars, Inc. Miller continued, “The whole reason we started Xtreme Cage Wars was to have a great way to give back to those that work so hard to protect us on a daily basis.” The monies raised came from he second Police vs. Firefighters Friday Night Fights at Red and Jerry’s in Sheridan, CO on April 30th 2009.
The XCW foundation provides a quick way to move forward in making donations and streamlining the process of donating monies by controlling the Non-Profit from the source. “The whole reason Xtreme Cage Wars, Inc. was created was to provide a great way to showcase the athleticism and spirt of public servants and the willingness to always help those in need, especially our own” said Michael Long Vice President of Business Development for Xtreme Cage Wars, Inc. “What a great way to show case professionalism along with promoting what a great sport MMA is” Long continued.
